Automationstechnik USA LLC is the USA subsidiary of Automationstechnik gmbh of Austria (ATA) and owned by Thilo Reich of Graz Austria. The ATA containers separate themselves from their competitors by quality of design and pride in workmanship. The Austrian quality standards ensure that standards are set and quality is exceeded at every phase of manufacturing.

1971 Heinz Reich, the father of the current owner Thilo Reich, realized the inefficiencies of the cubic and other containers on the market and designed the first cylindrical container for the process fruit industry. Since the original design in 1971 ATA has continued to modify the design of the cylindrical pressure container to create hundreds of variations to meet individual customers' needs and production requirements.

The ATA containers can be produced with Jacketed sidewalls for use with thermal processing, transportation and discharge. Options include laser welded double side-walls, insulated, steam, hydro and electronic heating and cooling systems.
